Your questions answered

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is an independent resource that provides administrative assistance to businesses and individuals whilst working remotely from a home office.

If you feel as though you are getting swamped with time-consuming jobs that you would rather not do then you should seriously consider using a VA. Your tasks will be in safe-hands being delivered by a trustworthy Personal Assistant. This will allow you time to continue to grow your own business or focus on more important things in your personal life.

Having a Virtual Assistant allows you to be flexible. You will have support when you need it the most but none of the ongoing cost of a full-time employee when you don’t need help. A VA comes with all the benefits of having a dedicated resource but none of the added cost of tax, national insurance and benefits or even needing to supply an office space.

If you can delegate your weaknesses and focus on your strengths then you will be in a much better position all-round.

Of course not. That’s the beauty of using a VA. I am based in Essex, England but I am able to work with anyone in any location in the world because I work remotely.

I work Monday to Friday between 09:30hrs and 17:00hrs. However, it is possible for me to work out of those hours with advance notice.

My hourly rate is £30 or £45 per hour should I be required ‘out of hours’. I also offer offer monthly retainer packages. More information can be found here.

You are able to pay via bank transfer. Should you wish to pay via PayPal it will incur an additional fee.

Then please get in touch. I want to help as many people as possible so if it is something that I’m not familiar with I will try my best to research and learn how to do the task. I am a fast learner.

If for any reason it falls out of my skill set then I have a network of trusted VAs that I can call upon or recommend.

No, I try to be as flexible as possible. You can use me on an ad-hoc hourly basis or there are packages available to use your hours when you need them during the month.

I keep track of my time by using a time recording software and then I will round it up or down to the nearest 15 minutes.

We are able to talk via telephone, email or video call. It is possible to meet face-to-face depending on your location.

Work requests can be sent via email or messenger and the work itself can either be emailed or shared with me on OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive.

Yes, you will receive a copy of my Virtual Assistant Agreement. Once you have signed and agreed then we can get straight to work.

I offer a contract which enables you to amend or cancel my service at any time with 30 days’ notice. Your only commitment is this 30 day notice period.

Yes, I have professional indemnity insurance. A copy is available on request.

That’s great! You can get in touch via my contact page or give me a call on 01621 774687. I look forward to hearing from you.
